On Friday the 20th of July 2012 the CHANTA CREW invites all real Reggae & Dancehall Fans to this very special -SUMMER EDITION- of the partyseries "Jamaican Nights" @ Koyote. Alongside the CHANTA CREW, who will nice up the dance with a very special musicselection reaching from roots to dancehall, from ska to rub-a-dub, and from classics to foundation, there will be a very special guest in the building that night to satisfy each and everybody with the maximum load of good vibes. Coming straight from Jamaica: CULTURE DAN will perform a very special show for the audience. Born and raised in Jamaica he get in touch with reggaemusic at an very young age and had the opportunity to tour all over the island with BRIGADIER JERRY. He has also played several big shows in europe like 2010 at the GaranceFestival, wich is the biggest in France, alongside BRIGADIER JERRY, CHARLIE CHAPLIN & JOSEY WALES.

CULTURE DAN
Culture Dan, born Horace Clarke in the parish of St. Mary, began showing early signs of love for reggaemusi. At any local event Culture and his peers would hang around to hear and see the latest artists and songs played, then at night on the streetcorners under the lights he would imitate artists and thier songs sometimes making up song of his own. At the age of twelve Culture was making a name for himself at school concerts and local events. At thirteen he moved to Trelawny where he teamed up with Trelawny´s number one sound system: Studio Four with Doctor Sting and others. At fourteen he accepted the Rastafarian faith, becoming a member of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, funtioning from the tribe of Dan, thus giving him the name "CULTURE DAN". In 1983 he became one of -Jahlove Muzik- permanent Dj´s, teaming up with Brigadier Jerry and others, touring all over Jamaica. He then migrated to the United States to spend time with his family. In 1987 and 1988 he won DJ of the year in Washington DC., being the first to have ever won this in two consecutive years. While still playing his trade locally in Jamaica with Jahlove Muzik, he went on to record his first singles, "Hold It Down Blood" and "Coming in Fresh" for the Black Liberty label, based in Maryland USA. After the migration of Brigadier Jerry to the USA, Culture Dan returned to play an important role on JahloveMuzik. This involved torunign with Jerimiah as the main Dj´s that year through, Canada, France, England and Sotlad to only name a few. In 1994 Culture reamed up with the Bus Out Studio, wich saw him release songs like, "Hundred Gran", "Hotty Hotty", and "Survivor", a combination with Collington Daley who resides in Canada.

On Sunday the 24th of June 2012 the CHANTA CREW invites all reggae & dancehall addicts to a very special event @ Koyote-Music-Support in Duesseldorf. Known as one of the biggest reggae artist in the scene, TURBULENCE -THE FUTURE- outta Kingstone/Jamaica, will play his first show ever in this town. TURBULENCE
-THE FUTURE-
Welcome then, to the sound of Turbulence, whose righteous lyrics and straight-from-the-heart deliveries have already earned him widespread acclaim. Turbulence has built up a healthy and extensive fan base after releasing almost twenty albums and touring the world – first as support to Sizzla, and then as a headliner in his own right. His biggest hit to date is Notorious, which rapidly outgrew its reggae and dancehall roots to become a huge starred in the film Rise Up (Reggae Star), which documents the progress of three young artists from Jamaica. Turbulence now awaits the next installment of his journey after impressing both filmmakers and audiences alike with his talent, sincerity and determination – qualities that single him out from Jamaica’s other musical heirs, and that will see him scale even greater heights in future.
Born into a family of four brothers, he young Sheldon Campbell hails from the Hungry Town district of Kingston. Like many other underprivileged youngsters, he began singing at school and church before serving his dancehall apprenticeship on sound-systems like Exodus Nuclear, Kilimanjaro and Arrows. He was originally known as Double Trouble until singing at a dance in Greenwich Farm one night. After witnessing his performance, a friend announced that he should be call Turbulence because of the disturbance he’d cause, and his capacity “to upset Babylon”.
His first real break arrived in 1998 when an uncle heard him sing at his grandfather’s funeral. This uncle then introduces him to producer Philip “Fatis” Burrell, the discoverer of Luciano and Sizzla, who produced his debt single, Think of Peace. Right from the start, we heard the urgent outpourings of a visionary who saw the need for people to organize, centralize and realize the truth,” even whilst promoting universal love. Turbulence had written this song (and also many others) in the tranquility of the St. Mary countryside, where he often visited his mother as a youth.
Inspired by artists such as Sizzla, Buju Banton and Bob Marley, he embraced Rastafarian and from that day on wards, has ensured that everything he voices has meaning, and comes from the heart. Initially compared to Sizzla on account of their similar vocal styles, Turbulence underlined his originality on a succession of tracks for Burrell’s Xterminator label. These songs, which included the beautiful Where Are Your Wings and On My Way to Zion, would distinguish him as a major new voice of Jamaican music. Several of them were included on his debut album, Turbulence, released in 2000. By then he was gaining invaluable experience by accompanying Sizzla on tours of America and Europe, often performing in front of festival size audiences. He’s grown immeasurably since then, and is a tour-de-force both on stage and in the studio.
His subsequent album have proved near perfect examples of the conscious dancehall art – i.e., they’re vibrant and exciting enough to have club audiences leaping for joy, yet are infused by the same spirit of Rastafari that graced many reggae classics from the seventies. Love, reverence, self-empowerment and spirituality are common themes in his work. At their core is the universal message of love, Peace and unity, since Turbulence’s songs are designed to reverberate in the hearts of all people, irrespective of color or creed. Finally, we can welcome the writing of a fresh chapter in the music history – one of special relevance to the younger generation, who can now celebrate the rise of another talented youth from the ghettos of Jamaica.

FOUNDATION SOUND
It was the year 1985 when head founder Zebulon started to run a sound system. After 8 years he parked the sound and started recording: "Manners" and "Change Yuh Ways" were released as a 7 inch. Missing the sound system vibes, Zebulon decided to return to the business in the year 2000 and re-named his sound: Foundation Sound. From 2000 till now, Zebulon´s been busy building an unique dub-box and establishing an original style. Nowadays teaming up with Junior Gun & Montana, Foundation Sound is a force to be reckoned with. As a juggling sound Foundation has proven that their specific delivery will win over any crowd in any country and they´ve juggled alongside some of the true heavyweights in the business (see below). Their style can be characterized as ´energetic with quality´. Drawing big tunes and dubs from past, present and future, Foundation Sound will set any dancehall on fire!!! Foundation´s clash record is even more impressive. In 2006 Foundation took part in the "War inna East" soundclash, where they reached the dub fi dub. Far West Crew (BE) took the trophy that year. The other participants were Rainbow Warrior (DE) and City Lock (DE). In 2008 Foundation was back with a vengeance and took the "War inna Eeast" trophy! They prevailed over the likes of Soldia Sound (SUI) and Soundbwoys Destiny (DE). In December 2010 Foundation wrote soundclash history by winning two clashes in one weekend! Friday the third of December they beat Gunz N Rozez (CAN) and Sensi Movement (DE) and took the "Global Shoot Out" cup. The very next day Foundation was up against Trinity Sound (SWE) in the "Skip Dem Out" clash and again thook the trophy!!! The winning streak continued when only two months later Foundation AGAIN was victorious and finished first place in the first edition of "Time 2 Shine" clash. Other participants were: Guiding Star (FR), Warrior Sound (DE), Fury Bass (FR), Reggae Bash (DE) and Ivory Sound (BE). Foundation Sound continues to expand their borders and attempts to reach new levels at everything they do. Promoting reggae music in all it´s formats is their passion. Armed with a huge dub-box, years of experience and an untiring drive, Foundation Sound is a sure-shot for any reggae music event!!!!

RUNNING IRIE SOUND was founded 2002 in Wuppertal, Germany by Fahda Bandelero. We are on the road with Fahda Bandelero (Owner/Selecta) & Silva (MC) & -our young blood – Mad Deumo (Selecta).
RUNNING IRIE SOUND present the whole range of jamaican music and soundsystem culture, such as heavy foundation,rub a dub, modern roots, the latest dancehall,dubplates & live shows with artists.
Over the years RUNNING IRIE SOUND has earned the reputation as “the peoples choice sound” through their finest selection,creativity and the love to the music.Our motivation is to present a good quality dance,the best entertainment and mostly bring all kinds of people -young and old- come together and give them a good time.
RUNNING IRIE SOUND played their first gigs in 2002 germanys well known Dancehall club U-Club in Wuppertal, but started soon their own Partys; from 2003-2008 we promoted the monthly party “ring the alarm” at ADA Wuppertal with about 400 guests, as well as other regular events like “hardt bash” at Hardt club, “Mash up! fridayz” at taboo club, big events with several floors, and over 600 guests like “Triple Trouble” @ Kino Center Elberfeld or open-air stage shows like “Bass im Park” with over 5000 guests. Since 2010 we promoting a monthly dance called “Dancehall University” in Wuppertal (Bloomclub) and Bochum (Schauspielhaus) plus unregular events such as concerts with jamaican acts like Elephant Man and others.
To keep the people listening to reggae, dancehall and RUNNING IRIE SOUND, we release every year 1-2 MIX-CDS called (PUSH UP YUH LIGHTA) with the latest in reggae-dancehall Each MIX-CD got downloaded between 10.000 and 20.000 times.
Since all these activitys were quite succesfull, RUNNING IRIE SOUND was
booked through half of Europe -in Citys as Moscow/Russia, Rome/Italy,
Budapest/Hungary, Berlin/Germany, Munich/Germany, Cologne/Germany, Prague/Czech Republik, Warsaw/Poland and hundreds more.

DEEBUZZ SOUNDSYSTEM
DeeBuzz was founded in 2000 by Sebastian Brunke and Melanie Köhler, supportet by a lot of true friends! The intension was to bring Dancehallreggae music into the Rhein-Neckar-Area (which is in southwest Germany) on a higher level. After releasing a couple of Mix-CD´s and constantly promoting big bashments inna Mannheim/Germany (Irie Vibez, Reggaeneration, etc.) the DeeBuzz Family was growing fast and strong! From the first day on DeeBuzz Crew decided to be the "Peoples-Sound", so they always play the music that mek people get mad inna di dance. DeeBuzz stands for pure entertainment and a lot of fun when it comes to dancehallmusic. In the early years DeeBuzz style was very bashment orientated so the people start call dem de "Jugglin-, or even JumpUp-Machine". Nowadays they are specialized in all varietys of carribean music from early dancehall up till modern tunes, but they also focus on homegrown artist and german culture inna dancehall. DeeBuzzJamaican DeeJay Skarra Mucci (Bonx it, Lyrics Millioneer), which also performs his own tunes on DeeBuzz, is the MC for the sound. Another big part of the crew is Germanys “Raggajungle Legend” DJ Freeze, and since 2005 the Sound has 3 more enthusiastic and talented selectas – Mr Yaas, Mahatma Ganja & Flow aka the “Steady Rock Crew”. DeeBuzz is not only a Soundsystem - it´s a Reggae promoting machine! Mannheim Reggae Festival, Yardrock Festival, Euro Sound War, Pon de River (Reggae-boat-bash!) ... just to name a few events of DeeBuzz and the houseown Eventmanagement topAtop (Melanie Köhler). Since 2005 the DeeBuzz Crew own and run their own Dancehall Club inna germany which is called: Rude7 | music & culture. In 2007 Rude7 got honoured as “Club of the Year” by the Riddim Magazine readers and won many other important awards in the last few years. DeeBuzz got honoured in the Riddim Magazin as one of the best Soundsystems in Germany (right after PowPow and Supersonic). Inna future the intension is to bring more international Reggae-Dancehallfans together, and to bring the DeeBuzz Style to all beautyfull and lovely people of the earth!
